The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) held its most recent plenary meeting in Paris in October 2024.
During this session, Ukraine's proposal to add Russia to the FATF's "black list" was discussed but ultimately rejected by countries including China, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Brazil.
Earlier in the year, on April 18, 2024, the FATF convened a biannual meeting in Washington, D.C.
The FATF typically holds multiple plenary meetings annually, often in different international locations, to address global issues related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and other threats to the international financial system.
